Bröllop på Hotell Torpa Pensionat, Södertälje

Malin och Thomas samlade sina nära och kära för ett svensk-franskt bröllop på idylliska Hotell Torpa Pensionat i Södertälje för en dag fylld av kärlek och glädje.

Strålande sol, glittrande vatten och en lugn harmonisk känsla över hela Hotell Torpa Pensionat satte tonen för Malin och Thomas bröllopsdag. Sverige visade sig verkligen från sin bästa sida för de franska gästerna som hade rest hit för att vara med på bröllopet.

Malin gjorde sig i ordning i den DRÖMMIGA bröllopssviten (som var to die for – se bilder), innan brudparet möttes för en pirrig first look. Vi tog porträtt runt de vackra omgivningarna innan det var dags för deras utomhusvigsel på verandan med vacker utsikt över vattnet. Efter vigseln bjöds det på mingel, bubbel och tilltugg innan gästerna satte sig till bords för att avnjuta en trerättersmiddag och fina tal som blandades med skratt, glädjetårar och en härlig stämning.

4 frågor till Malin och Thomas:

• När och hur träffades ni?

We met on a Tinder-date on the 8th of August 2024. We met in my apartment and had a night of painting and drinking wine, originally we were going out for beers but Malins day had been very intense since she spent half of it in the emergency with and old college so she was in no place to leave her apartment – but really did not want to cancel the date with the charming looking Frenchman.

• Hur gick frieriet till?

Thomas proposed at home in our old apartment after Malin had worked a 12-hour shift – and even though she expected the proposal the fact that it happened after a hards day of work in the prison was truly a surprise. It was of course accompanied by a homecooked dinner and wine.

• Vad har varit det svåraste samt det roligaste när det kommer till bröllopsplaneringen?

The most fun part about planning a wedding is the fact that you are your own project manager – not only do you get to add the details that you have dreamed of since you were a kid but you also get to add fun and quirky details that match you as a couple. And on top of all that you also get to meet so many amazing people that all want to help make your day special, for example the vigselförättare, the photographer, the hairstylist, the bakery and all the planning meetings with the bridal party. It truly has been a blast. The hardest part of planning a wedding is probably the actually planning all the small details. All the small things that you don’t think about when you start to plan – but the further down the rabbit hole you get the more things you realize that you have to do… it is not just like organizing a regular party where you can inform the time a few days in advance and chose an outfit an hour before the guests arrive… haha. It feels like it is easy to forget the small details.

• Vilket/vilka tips skulle ni vilja ge till framtida brudpar?

Have fun with it – and don’t stress about things being perfect! The most important part is that you get to spend the day with your loved ones to celebrate the beauty of your love. And also spend your money wisely and prioritize the things that are really important to you.
